Our landlord finally approved us to paint over the horrible mint green paint in Elizabeth's room. Honestly the color wasn't horrible but just very cold and didn't match her stuff. So with the long weekend and a lot of indoor time, we decided to partake in some painting. It started off as my project but quickly turned into a family project.
I am really happy with the results and Elizabeth loves it. I think I might change the green stripe to a different green but that all depends on how energetic I am. I am also planning on making a headboard for her bed next.

That's really cool how you left the green pinstripe in there, it looks great! Now you're making me want to paint Grace's room! :)
It does look fabulous! What a good use of the rainy weekend!
What a great little girls room!
Carrie, I have to say I think that is one of the best paint jobs I have ever seen. What I think is most clever is the taping the green stripes and using them so you don't have to tape, paint, dry, tape and paint again. It looks awesome! Toni
