It Wasn't Me - I Swear!

I know the look gives it all away, but I found AJ trying on my lipstick last night as I was bathing Jacob. If only I could have eyes in different parts of the house at all times! I guess I will have to save this one for his future girlfriends.

What time is it?

I'm not sure about you but I don't think this looks like nap time even though it should be. I guess they all decided to go on strike today. It is a good thing that it is Friday!

CRAZY hair!

While Mike washed Jacob off after his creative decorating with his dinner, I guess he decided to redo his hair as well. What do you think of his styling techniques?

Comment Patrol!!!

SmileyCentral.com

As I was going to update the blog today, I realized that I have had almost 2000 visitors since I started this blog. The funny thing is that I only get comments from a select few (which I REALLY appreciate). I figured I would try and guilt the rest of you into leaving comments because then I know the work I do on the blog is well worth it. The comments keep me going and the more comments I receive, I certainly will be inclined to blog more. Please let me know who you are and what you think of the blog. I guess now I just have to wait and see what happens.

Put Ball In Hole

Well, Jacob has mastered the art of putting the balls down the shoot in his little play station - which he is at all day long! He was so funny when he figured it out because he got a look on his face of - "Hey Mom! Did you see that? I did a good job!" I can't believe how fast he is growing up and what he is able to do these days! Stay my little baby for a little while longer, please!!!

100 Day Party

Friday evening was full of Hawaiian fun! Our senior class had their 100 Day Party (100 days until graduation) which was a Luau street party. There was good food, good music, good fun and of course good friends. There was a hula contest that a few good sports in our class participated in. Of course, Elizabeth's friend Camden, was highly nominated because of his excellent dancing skills. Needless to say it was a lot of fun and I know we are looking very forward to our 100 Day Party. Congrats 07A!

Giving Up Bottles

Our friend, Grace, graciously gave up her bottles the other day! She donated them to Jacob because he is a baby and she is such a big girl. We are so proud of you Grace - you are growing up to be such a big girl!!! (Jacob says thanks!)

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for Elizabeth and AJ. Well, AJ is scheduled in a 2 year old room that has a learn through play philosophy (I'm sure he doesn't have a problem with this). Both kids were excited to go and there were no tears shed and we had to pry the good-byes out of them. I'm sure this year will be a lot of fun for the both of them and I know I am glad to be back in a school year schedule.

Photoshoot

Well - Jacob had his first modeling shoot this weekend for Out Of The Bleu. We were in the studio for a little over an hour and he did good for the majority of the time (despite the fact that he did pee on her rug - but she did want him naked). These are just a few of the photos that were taken and I think they turned out really well.

Labor Day

We went down to Orange County for Labor Day to spend some time with my family and celebrate my Dad's 55th birthday ( a little early). My brother drove up from San Diego and my uncle and cousins were there as well. We all had a great time!

The kids helped Pappy blow out his candles on his birthday cake.

My cousin, Erin, got her first surf board. She went surfing with all of the guys every morning that we were there. From what I understand, she is pretty good and is going to be a pretty good surfer. Way to go Erin - you give those boys a run for their money!

My cousin, Wes, cracked us up with his antics the whole time we were there. He was so good with the kids and found a new buddy in AJ.

My brother, Dave - well what else can I say about him?

As hot as it was, the kids enjoyed a lot of time in the pool trying to keep cool. They both enjoyed washing Pappy's seashells that he collects while surfing.

Of course you can't have some outside time without some swinging involved. I think Jacob just enjoyed sitting back and taking in all of the activity that was going on around him.

Finally, before we left, we got a picture of my parents with the kids - we haven't had one since Jacob was born.

Oh yeah - did I mention that I broke my nose and busted up my knees?
