Jacob was a very patient on looker at the time. He was getting over pink eye and pneumonia at the time.

Silver Saddle Ranch
Today we went up to Silver Saddle Ranch in California City with our TPS playgroup. We had intended on going to the petting zoo there but for some unknown reason, it was closed when we got there. The kids still had a lot of fun playing in the teepee's , walking along the fence to the petting zoo and having the goats follow them and petting the horses.
Weekend Visit
My parents came up this weekend to see Elizabeth play soccer and spend some time with the grandkids. They made it just in time for her game on Saturday morning.
My dad also moved the water faucet for me since it is on the opposite side of the house than where it should be. Of course as soon as the kids saw the tools and the shovels, they had to get right in and help.
We had a lot of fun with you Gamma & Pappy! See you soon!

My New Goal!
Upon pulling into the garage today, AJ noticed the potty that had been sitting on the shelf since we moved in. He insisted that I pull it down and bring it inside. Well, after I dusted it off, he promptly pulled off his pants and diaper and plopped down in front of the TV for a little Diego on the potty. To make a long story short, he sat there for two hours (gosh I hope he doesn't get hemorrhoids) and went in the potty several times. After this rendezvous with the potty I have decided I am going to encourage going potty in a toilet a little more. I am afraid of pushing him too much being it backfired on me with Elizabeth but his interest had me hopeful. We'll see how the next couple of weeks go.

My lil' chefs
Tonight we were getting ready for soccer practice and I was trying to figure out what to feed the kids. The timing is hard because practice starts at 6PM. Do I feed them before and try to get them finished and out the door in time or do I feed them afterwards when they are starving and cranky? Well, I decided if I could find something that they could help with, maybe they would have more interest in eating it. So off to work they went with grilled cheese sandwiches. They spread the butter, opened the cheese and pieced the sandwiches together in the pan. I cut up some apples for them to eat while I cooked the sandwiches hoping they wouldn't loose their interest. Well, in the end, Elizabeth devoured hers but AJ (like any other two year old I know) decided he wasn't ready to eat so therefore he didn't. As they say, "I'm sure he won't starve himself."

Where were you at 5:45AM PST on Saturday?
Well my answer would be on the Rosamond Dry Lake Bed taking our class spouse picture. We are officially Bond Girls and tried to roll with the theme. We had martini's, cigars, guns, knives and of course the luxurious Italian car - a Maserati. I have included a couple of the preview pictures. Tell me which one you like.
Soccer Game
We had our second soccer game today where our team (Mojave Greens) played the Jellyfish (also happens to be the team that Adam coaches). AJ and Jacob were dressed in there spirited green shirts as they watched the Greens play. Elizabeth wasn't quite in the mood to play today but did enjoy throwing the ball in when it went out of bounds. Hopefully next week she will be feeling a little more up to playing. It is a lot of fun to watch the kids play though!
It Wasn't Me - I Swear!
I know the look gives it all away, but I found AJ trying on my lipstick last night as I was bathing Jacob. If only I could have eyes in different parts of the house at all times! I guess I will have to save this one for his future girlfriends.

Comment Patrol!!!
As I was going to update the blog today, I realized that I have had almost 2000 visitors since I started this blog. The funny thing is that I only get comments from a select few (which I REALLY appreciate). I figured I would try and guilt the rest of you into leaving comments because then I know the work I do on the blog is well worth it. The comments keep me going and the more comments I receive, I certainly will be inclined to blog more. Please let me know who you are and what you think of the blog. I guess now I just have to wait and see what happens.

Put Ball In Hole
Well, Jacob has mastered the art of putting the balls down the shoot in his little play station - which he is at all day long! He was so funny when he figured it out because he got a look on his face of - "Hey Mom! Did you see that? I did a good job!" I can't believe how fast he is growing up and what he is able to do these days! Stay my little baby for a little while longer, please!!!

100 Day Party
Friday evening was full of Hawaiian fun! Our senior class had their 100 Day Party (100 days until graduation) which was a Luau street party. There was good food, good music, good fun and of course good friends. There was a hula contest that a few good sports in our class participated in. Of course, Elizabeth's friend Camden, was highly nominated because of his excellent dancing skills. Needless to say it was a lot of fun and I know we are looking very forward to our 100 Day Party. Congrats 07A!
