Mike and I took Elizabeth and AJ ice skating while we were down in Orange County. Who would have thought of ice skating in southern California but we found it. AJ was very excited to get out on the ice but once he figured out it was slippery, he quickly changed his mind and it was off to the merry-go-round for us. Elizabeth, on the other hand, was thrilled about ice skating and spent two hours on the ice with Daddy. She has asked to go again - I not sure that we will be able to find a rink here in the desert but we can work on that.

Sally said...: FYI...when we were there a couple of weeks ago there was an ice rink at the Antelope Valley Mall parking lot by Dillards. Don't know if it's still there, but it's closer than Orange County! :-); January 3, 2008 at 1:52 PM

Macrophage Activation Syndrome

After a long struggle in the hospital and a lot of uncertainty, I have recently been diagnosed with a very rare blood disorder called MAS. I am currently receiving chemotherapy and high doses of steroids as part of my treatment. The doctors are uncertain if the end treatment will be a bone marrow transplant or not.
