Disney Part I

So, we headed out on a Saturday (1/24) morning and this is the gang that ended up at the grand ol' Disney World Resort.

And of course there were giggles galore and squeals of delight with the reunion of cousins and grandparents.

Day 1: After a long drive (8hrs.) we settled into the hotel (Port Orleans French Quarter) while the others went to dinner. While they were gone we decided to hop on a boat ride to Downtown Disney and see what it had to offer. I was determined to take Jacob to the new T-Rex Cafe that just opened up since he is now infatuated with his "roars". The wait happened to be a whopping hour long this night and we were just too tired so we headed back to the hotel for a quick bite to eat and then off to bed for our big day to follow at the Magic Kingdom.

Day 2: We woke up to a beautiful sunny day and with kids full of energy and excitement we headed over to the Magic Kingdom. All I have to say is that who ever invented these cute little animal creature backpack/leashes obviously had a child like mine that had no sense of staying near. God bless them and Nana's too!

There was plenty of tea cup spinning and Dumbo flying to make any one dizzy but man those kiddos sure do love a good spin.

The kiddos were worn out by the time lunch was over so we all decided to head back to the hotel for naps for some and swimming for others. It was decided later in the trip that all these kids need is a Holiday Inn Express down the street that has a pool to have a dream vacation.

That evening it was back to the Magic Kingdom for some more fun in the park at Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, the Jungle Boat ride and of course a beautiful firework display! With sore feet and tired kiddos we headed back to the hotel for a good night's rest so we could start over again in the morning.
Day 3: To be continued in post to follow....
